This notice explains what personal data I collect through this site, what I use it for and how you can exercise your rights, under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
Who is responsible for your data
Keila Mateos, an independent digital advertising consultant based in Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data. For anything related to this notice, write to hola@keylamateos.consulting.
What data I collect
Only what you share when you book a call, message me on WhatsApp or send an email:
- Identification and contact details: name, email and phone or WhatsApp number.
- Business details: company, website, ad budget range and any information about your campaigns you choose to share.
I do not ask for sensitive personal data or for financial or banking details.
What I use your data for
I use your data for these purposes, which are needed to handle your request:
- Scheduling, confirming and holding the discovery call.
- Preparing and sending you a service proposal.
- Following up and, if we work together, delivering and invoicing the service.
I also measure in aggregate how the site is used (see “Cookies”). I do not use your data for advertising or newsletters, and I do not sell it or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
Tools involved
To run this site I rely on providers that process your data on my behalf and under their own privacy policies. Some of them store information outside Mexico:
- Google (Calendar, Meet and Gmail): call scheduling, invitation and email.
- Google (Tag Manager and Analytics): measuring how the site is used.
- WhatsApp (Meta): messaging, if you choose to reach me there.
- Cloudflare: hosting and security for this site, which logs technical data such as your IP address.
Beyond these providers, I do not transfer your data to third parties unless a competent authority requires it by law.
Cookies and tracking
I use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools, such as Google Analytics, that use cookies to understand in aggregate how the site is used: pages visited, time on site, traffic source and whether a call was booked. This information does not identify you by name. The hosting provider may also set technical cookies to protect the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working. If I add advertising tools, such as remarketing, I will say so in this notice.
How long I keep your data
For as long as there is a business relationship or active follow-up. If we do not end up working together, I delete your data within 24 months of our last contact, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, withdraw your consent or limit how it is used. To do so, write to hola@keylamateos.consulting with:
- Your name and a way to reply to you.
- A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise.
- A document proving your identity or, where applicable, your representative’s.
I will reply within 20 business days. If the request is granted, it takes effect within the following 15 business days.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, I will publish the updated version on this page with its new date.
